Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

I've got two news for you guys today though: one bad news and one good news. Let's start with the bad news.
I haven't finished writing SPIKE yet.

It's been a while since my previous entry (which is left incomplete because my subs ended).

Before getting to the main point, here's a little update about my life.
My uni. started yesterday *dundundun* Yeah, I'm ultra depressed at the moment (i'm constantly ill)... I'm still deciding whether I should take lots of classes and work my ass off, or go easy this sem... I really hate it because I have to ride trains, and if you haven't seen the trains in Tokyo, it's like HELL. Especially morning rush, where you can't breathe properly due to heck loads of people riding it.... Okay, maybe not worse like the ones in India. But it's still horrible.
Ugh, I hope I can survive this semester just by getting my butt to uni...

Now, it's been about a month since I made this new account, and I'm surprised by how many people decided to watch... Wow, thank you guys!
Also, thank you for commenting my deviations! I have to apologize because some of them aren't replied. I'm sorry because i'm technically slow at replying, and sometimes I accidentally delete the replies in my message box and I can't find it

One more thing, I need to address some manner issues. It's not new, because I had these things in other account occasionally, but seriously man... some people are acting like they're in elementary (when in their profile, it shows that they're over 20).
It's on my profile right now, but I have the sign "I do not do requests". I'm sorry, but I don't take requests. Let me repeat: I DO NOT TAKE REQUESTS. I sometimes do when I'm talking over with my friends, but that doesn't mean that I take them from anyone. It's really great that people who sent me notes are interested in my works, but how you ask is out of question. Some of you guys were polite - you ask, I say no, say thank you and move on. But there was one who was so full of arrogance in their tone. Apparently, this person thought I was new to dA, and tried to take advantage of a newbie thinking I don't know anything around here; when I said "I don't take requests", he came back at me saying I must take them if I want to avoid troubles with him (with horrible english).
Ohh I'm scared.... it's like WTF? I saw that this person was new too (maybe he had another account, I dunno), but that's too lame. Threat won't get you anything. I'm sure you know who you are, but if you're like that on Internet, one day you are going to be busted really bad.
Asking is alright (even though I really hate them, and i'm going to say NO), but don't bug me about it.}

HALLOWEEN MINIMINI-CAMPAIGN: TRICK OR TREATING

Did I tell you Halloween is my favorite day of the year? Even more than my own birthday and Christmas and New Year?

Well, it's October now, which means it's almost Halloween!!

So here's the thing. I think i'm going to do a short-mini contest.

Well, not really a contest, because it's slightly different just because I like doing things that are unique from other stuff

RULES

Draw my oc x canon pair: MaeLuna (There are whole bunch of refs in my gallery.) dressed up in a halloween costume.

They can either be in the Wolf/Bunny version (long hair) or in usual version.

Any style (normal or chibi) is fine.

Must be colored.

Let me know if you're going to join, BEFORE you start.

Deadline is 10/31 - you can submit it before this day.

So it's simple. You draw the pair and show up on my doorstep (my page) for a trick or treat.

Everyone who shows up for it will get one simple chibi of your OC as a "treat."

They will be in a set with other people's (if there are more than one participants): it will look like this [link].

Also, I'm going to draw MaeLuna in the end in the costume one that I liked the most.
