So, Luna finds Coco and decides tokidnap take him home /shot I wanted to try making one of these vignettes for the aftermath scene - I tried using limited palette for this but as usual I mega failed (total count: 48) /shot XD I dunno if this is considered isometric but I'll just stick into this category lol

Really nice scene! Just since you mentioned it, a tip I would give you for limited palettes that pixel artists generally use is that they shade and highlight colors with other colors from the image. This tends to also bring together the image holistically as well.
For instance, you might want to use a shade in the plant that you'd also use in the quilt. This would mean you'd create a compromise blue-green-grey color that looks nice in both. This has the bonus of making the shading look a little more realistic, since using the same 'blue' for all your shades doesn't tend to look as nice (though I do think I see that you used some variety, I can't tell for sure).
