Deviousness |
This certainly look nice and delicious. The sppon andle is a bit bothersome though with the side edge of it being a flat colour which stands out pretty heavily considering the rest of this piece has 188 colours. A colour count that I imagine would be difficult to manage and one that really isn't taken advantage of considering all the 1 pixel lines with no AA. Personally I'd recommend working with tighter pallets. The animation feels kind of unnecessary considering all it is, is a blink. Since the eyes move I kind of expect more movement from the other aspects of the image like in the cream or maybe just her legs swinging back and forth. There is a section in the cheesecake that suffers from some banding and creates a very unnatural curvature that doesn't really make much sense compared to the rest of the cheesecake. Why the outline around the cream changes from black to that browny colour doesn't make a lot of sense to me and seems rather pointless considering the already darkened outlines used inside the image. The dark line inside the cream blob/puddle also stands out and doesn't have a clear purpose.
While the colour count is high the colours used for the most part are nice and the form of the girl is nicely done. That cake does look tasty! I think if you were to work with a more restricted pallet you'd achieve much cleaner and crisper results.
Vision:
It's all distinguishable although the animation feels lacking compared to the rest.
Origionality:
A person on cake, not something I've seen before. Although why she isn't simply eating it baffles me
Technique:
Some AA and some changes here and there in the shading would help this piece a lot, but most of all a tighter colour pallet that allows for more pixel control.
Impact:
Aside from the animation that cake makes me hungry!
Hope this helps
